Planning happens every day…
Planning what needs to be achieved at work.
Planning for social activities on the weekend.
Planning what to have for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Planning which route to take on the way home.
Planning which side of the course to hit up the first beat.
These things are quite standard, and most of the time we plan them without even realising it.
But what about life. Some people say that planning ahead in life can lead to disaster. Things might change and your plans could be thrown out the window and an increadible amount of time would be wasted.
I thought it was about time that I started planning things. But then I got to thinking that what if I planned out my life and things didn’t work out? I know I would be devastated, but at the same time I don’t really fancy just potting along forever. I feel that I need a goal.
Should I plan? Should I map out? Should I navigate through with each desination given a time frame to achieve?
Perhaps I should just plan on going to bed…
